Been Away. (The ASHES)

Well first of all I must apologize for the lack of content on my site. I am experiencing a few hick ups at present, but it will be sorted soon. Also Monica and I were in Brisbane for “The Ashes” that is a Cricket match between England and Australia.

A tradition since 1882 when England were first defeated by Australia in England and the so called death of English cricket was proclaimed and some piece of the game was burnt to ashes and placed in “the urn“. Monica attended her first live cricket game, a wonder when you consider that she would chose not to watch it on TV. After three days I think Monica had enough. Even though it was the wrong result for the Poms, it did show some signs of hope……Anyway back to reality now and the team did a great job while I was away. Was one of the busiest weekends of the year as well. Well done.
